Financial Controller - Project Management
As a Financial Controller - Project Management at Hitachi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects. Your main responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing monthly financial dashboards to track project progress and key financial factors, including costs, revenue, cash, and margin.
• Supporting the Project Manager and PMO in daily financial monitoring and taking an active role in project costing and EAC updates, including risk review.
• Managing project cash flow, assisting with project payment applications, and regular invoicing to customers, as well as managing regular payments to internal subcontractors.
• Supporting the commercial team in contractual topics that impact the project and bids, including claims, variations, final settlements, tax issues, and more.
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting during month-end closing activities.
• Collaborating with the Head of Finance and Head of Accounting on country financial reporting and accounting, including tax queries, audits, periodic financial reporting, entity budgeting, and forecasting.
• Managing project balance sheets and leading financial annual project budgets and forecasting.
