About the Role
Qatar Energy is seeking a highly experienced Principal Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Qatar. As a key member of our upstream operations team, you will be responsible for providing expert well integrity engineering and petroleum engineering knowledge to resolve well integrity problems for both active and plugged and abandoned wells in the Dukhan field.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct relevant studies related to well integrity and support the design review for new wells.
• Recommend barrier isolation and abandonment plans for wells.
• Search and evaluate innovative technologies to improve well integrity engineering diagnostic and repair techniques.
Requirements
• Minimum 20+ years of work experience as a petroleum engineer in the oil and gas upstream industry.
• BSc. in Petroleum Engineering, preferably MSc. in Petroleum Engineering.
