Job Description
Site Manager Construction - East-Flanders
As a site manager, you coordinate all phases of construction projects, from start to delivery, with the highest attention to safety and quality.
• Working closely with project managers, foremen, workers and subcontractors, you play a crucial role. It is essential that you are present on the construction sites to experience and actively shape the day-to-day operations.
• You are responsible for managing the schedule to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule.
• You ensure safety on site.
• You oversee the quality of work delivered and compliance with applicable construction standards and regulations.
• You constantly take profitability into account and intervene when necessary. You constantly look for opportunities to improve processes, systems and working methods to optimize returns.
• You lead meetings to discuss works on site.
The Successful Applicant
Site Manager Construction - East-Flanders
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent through experience.
• You have demonstrable experience as a site manager in the construction sector.
• You have leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• You have knowledge of construction processes, materials and techniques.
• You are stress resistant, independent and pro-active.
• You have a problem-solving mindset.
• You speak fluent English.
