The GOOD People Network is a creative agency working with some of the most dynamic brands in the world. We are looking for a Community Manager for our client Netflix Philippines’ social channels.
Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services with 278 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
Our Netflix Philippines social channels seek a vibrant, creative, and organized Community Manager to oversee day-to-day platform management for the brand. This role requires a passionate individual with a flair for entertainment. Ideal candidates will possess an understanding of marketing trends, identify influencers figures in this space, and a commitment to driving growth and engagement across our platforms. Strong editorial judgment, exceptional copywriting skills, and the capacity to make swift decisions and engage effectively in social conversations are essential to elevate the Netflix brand.
Your responsibilities:
• Community builder. Develop and foster communities across Netflix PH social channels to promote strong engagement around our content.
• Own content creator strategy. Build influencer relationships in support of the Community Engagement Lead to contribute to social marketing efforts.
• On the pulse. Research current trends, opportunities, and recommendations for the team to include in social campaigns and daily programming.
• Channel keeper. Support the Community Lead in creating new platforms and piloting features for each one while managing platform upkeep, such as updating social media skins, bios, pinned posts, YouTube rows, and more.
• Collaborator. Work with the PH-based Newsroom to use community-led insight for social programming.
What we need from you:
• 2-3 years experience working as a Community Manager as part of a communications or marketing team, or in an editorial department.
• Deep knowledge of pop culture and is passionate about entertainment and all things movies and TV shows.
• Highly organized
• The ability to speak and and have strong copywriting skills in English and Tagalog is important
• Ability to work proactively, independently, and collaborate with the wider team
