WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Accountant/Senior Accountant will be part of the Finance Department in Malaysia and is responsible for the project accounting, bookkeeping and supporting Commercial Finance for the RISE (Rapid & Immersive Skill Enhancement) Program.
RISE is designed to enhance employability by building high-demand business and digital skills. Created by BCG U, RISE leverages BCG’s industry experts to deliver cutting edge content and experience to the program. BCG U was established to provide a platform for our experts to share their knowledge, and we have trained 15,000+ people in digital, data and agile skills in recent years.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
• Knowledge of statutory and US GAAP financial accounting and reporting
• Proficient in English Language
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, different cultures, styles and all levels of staff
• Good team player and motivator

• Strong organization skills, orientation to detail and resourcefulness

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• Recognized Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience. Proven experience in project accounting, training or learning industry will be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis especially in the training and learning industry
• Familiar with general accounting software such as Oracle, SAP and Xero would be advantageous
• Strong in Excel
• Comfortable working with tight deadlines
• Meticulous, organized and able to prioritize work
• Strong in problem solving, execution and comfortable with fragmentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently
