The Credit Maintenance Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for capturing and recording data on credit exposures, obligors and facilities in relevant credit systems in coordination with the Operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is Supporting the business, by properly applying the bank’s credit policies and procedures as well as local regulations for booking, monitoring, classifying and safekeeping information.

Key Responsibilities:
• Adherence to the Local and Global Standards in provision of banking processing and service;
• Follow Local Regulatory and Citi requirements related to the Unit processes, including timely and accurate reporting;
• Provide the focus to drive product excellence and creating the capacity for product development;
• Deliver high quality advising services and business partners, keep client centricity;
• Keep staff in line with Citi Global Strategy and adopt required changes.
• Interpret existing and new credit policies. Manage processes and procedures; ensure effectiveness.
• Ensure any policy changes are smoothly implemented, providing support for RMs and interfacing with Risk Management
• Analyze root causes of limit breaks and other process issues; propose and implement standard solutions.
• Maintain accurate relationship/obligor and facility data in rigorous credit database including documentations.
• Where relevant: manage some large/important relationships: database maintenance.
• Monitoring of limit exceptions (unapproved excesses, TOD’s, etc), detection and escalation to the management.
• Adherence to the Local and Global Standards in provision of banking processing and service;
• Follow Local Regulatory and Citi requirements related to the Unit processes, including timely and accurate reporting;
• Provide the focus to drive product excellence and creating the capacity for product development;
• Deliver high quality advising services and business partners, keep client centricity;
• Keep staff in line with Citi Global Strategy and adopt required changes.
• Control of LLL as per NBK requirements (local compliance).
• Maintaining of NBK Credit registers/ESSP (local compliance).
• Tracking of SBLC limits and outstandings.
• Un-utilized credit lines report (local compliance).
• Preparation and submission of information to Credit Bureaus.
• Monitoring of pledge documentation, guarantees, legal documentation expiry date.
• COB testing.
• Monitoring of loan target utilization
• Disbursement Approval and Control:
• Ensure correct process is adhered to for LC/LG applications, loan disbursements as per Availment Process. Act as ‘authorized CRMS signer’.
• Monitoring of documentation deficiencies/deferrals/expired documents, escalation/reporting to the management.
• Checking of credit documents/credit dossiers for completeness/correctness.
• Registration of credit documentation and deferrals in credit system (CitiRisk/CDM).
• Check that facility status correctly reflects document status (held, deferred,etc), change status of facility in Citirisk after receiving of credit documentation.
• Safekeeping of original documentation in a fireproof, safe and secure environment.
• Scanning of documentation under CRMS custody into the branch-scanning database.
• Generate/monitor reports, assess changes, detect and resolve errors. Support business units by creatively responding to information needs, contributing to development of appropriate Optima/CRC reports and other tools.
• Monitor and analyze credit documentation, preparation of CRMS internal reports on daily and monthly basis and to signing of the report.
• Prepare accurate and timely information for portfolio reviews.
• Ensure data requirements and other support required for audits are provided accurately and on a timely basis. Achieve acceptable audit results.
• Maintenance of credit dossier documentation as per local regulatory requirements.
• Organize team assignments; supervise workflows; oversee overall management of Unit.
• Follow up changes in local legislation
• Implement new processes as instructed. Contribute to process initiatives and other projects
• Timely execution of projects and tasks assigned to the unit.

Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• High professional education
• Experience in business preferred
• Working knowledge of industry standards and practices
• Working knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

• Knowing of legislative and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international legislation governing the activities of the credit administration unit

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
