About Our Client

Our client, a reputable B2B technology solution, which is well-funded, is looking to hire VP of Sales and Marketing to lead the commercial team in Indonesia. You will be reporting to the CEO and will be managing a team of highly performing team diversified team members. Within their industry, they are one of the late comers, but they believe they have a value proposition that is unique to the market. With ambitious plan to dominate the market in 2025, they are looking for aggressive commercial candidate to be on board immediately.

Job Description

For the candidate to be successful, the selected candidate is required to become the brand ambassador, and to be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong vision, a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:
• Analyzing market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth.
• Developing and managing the sales and marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitoring financial performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet budgetary goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that align with the organisation's mission and vision.
• Facilitating strategic planning sessions with senior management to establish goals and objectives.
• Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.

Leadership:
• Leading and mentoring the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance performance.
• Developing the sales training programs and motivational initiatives to drive team success.
• Working closely with product development, customer service, and other departments to ensure cohesive strategies.
• Serving as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
• Managing and mentoring team members to develop their strategic thinking and analytically capabilities.

Commercial Management:
• Overseeing the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media).
• Ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging across all marketing materials.
• Creating and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing plans aligned with organisational objectives.
• Conducting market research to inform product development and marketing strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing metrics for upper management.
• Preparing sales forecast, budgets and targets through various strategies.
• Proactively introducing new strategies and clients that fits the business requirement.
• Achieving the set revenue target and ensuring that all projects are being completed on time.

The Successful Applicant

Because of the highly competitiveness of the process, this role is only opened for Indonesians with excellent communication in English and Bahasa, and has worked in a fast-paced B2B technology-environment. To seize the opportunity to work for this highly dynamic client, you should be/have:
• Minimum of 15 years working experience in similar space (B2B technology based). You should have prior experience in the sales and marketing sector, preference will be in the SaaS / SI / Data Center / Cloud company.
• Bachelor's degree in business or relevant degree from reputable universities.
• Experience in setting up and scaling up a business and having the knowledge of each of the process from on boarding to delivery to customers.
• Excellent sales track records targeting diverse set of clients (multinational and local), across all industries.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
• Strong business acumen, entrepreneur, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and adaptability, energetic and result oriented.
• Excellent time and project management skill with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Strong understanding of marketing, digital marketing, CRM systems, analytics tools.
• Excellent strong team management and leadership skills.
