Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Evaporator Operator to join our team. The Evaporator Operator will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the evaporator
system to ensure efficient juice concentration and production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machinery operations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor evaporator equipment to ensure optimal performance and juice concentration.
• Adjust controls and settings to regulate temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the evaporator system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work area as required.
• Assist in the training of new operators and provide support to team members.
Skills
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends as required.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in operating evaporator systems or similar machinery in a food processing environment is preferred
