Linde Motel is inviting applications for the appointment to the position of:
Food and Beverage Supervisor
Responsible to: General Manager
The post is offered on a fixed term contract and is tenable in Mponela.
Job Description
The focus of the food and Beverage supervisor work will be coordinating all meetings/ banqueting function held in the motel.
Purpose of the Position
Strive towards an exceptional customer experience
Overseeing and supervising welcome of customers
Communicating and building strong relationships with clients
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and forecast food and beverages orders
Execute customer orders timely.
Timely analysis of food and beverage prices in accordance with market trends.
Attend to customer complaints patiently
Participation on manager on duty shifts as required
Ensure the maintenance of bar control policies
Ensure adherence to the food, health and safety standards
Ordering and tracking food and beverage supplies when needed.
Tracking inventory movements and keeping the records.
Responsible for planning work, training and overseeing all staff members in the department
Coordinate with debt collection departments by providing information of clients with debts.
Education and Experience
At least a certificate in food and beverage services with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a food and beverage supervisor.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Ms. EXCEL, Ms. WORD
Applicants must have the following essentials:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited University with minimum of five years work experience
A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA will be added advantage.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is essential.
