Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at M’mbelwa District Council.
POSITION: BUILDING SUPERVISOR
GRADE : K/M9
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be in possession of a grade One (1) Trade Test Certificate.
EXPERIENCE
nA minimum of four (4) years experience in the Construction industry.
DUTIES:
Review building regulations
Ensure that development plans are in compliance with building regulations
Develop designs for the Council to guide developers.
Coordinate technical appraisal and review of building plans
Coordinate enforcement activities to enhance adherence to planning and building standards in the Council.
Any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
