Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Deploy the regional strategy for transportation compatible with the GLOG & Business strategies.
Execution
Set up and follow up with carriers KPIs, Dashboard action trackers.
Daily tracking: Operations and cost including the OTD.
Establish and maintain weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reportings & Reviews with Carriers including North Africa team's members.
Establish a weekly follow up with Business for new Lanes creation for new businesses.
Establish a weekly follow up with Business for new & ongoing projects.
Analyse the existing flows/modes and seek for optimization opportunities.
Manage & Control Transportation Costs, Forecast & KPI's processes for North Africa operations in collaboration with GLOG & Business partners.
Manage in coordination with Logistics Quality the LPM's and Transportation damages.
Close cooperation with Trade Compliance team in North Africa.
Ensure the right setups for our flow in SAP.
What your background should look like:
Bac+5 in Transportation Management
+3 years of experience on transportation management field.
Advanced knowledge of logistics, trade and compliance and operations.
Analytical skills.
Project leadership experience.
Ability to work in multi-cultural team.
Good communicator at all levels in the business.
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office tools
Fluent in English & French
