Position Title: Corporate Communications Officer

Work Type: Hybrid

Reporting to: Corporate Communications & Advocacy Manager

Role Accountability: Individual Contributor

Industry: Agrochemical, Manufacturing

Role Summary:

Our client seeks to hire a dynamic Corporate Communications Officer to support their Country Cluster East Africa Corporate (CCEA) Communication & Advocacy function.

Key Relationships:

Internal:

1. All CCEA & MAA communications colleagues

2. HR Business Partner - CCEA

External:

1. Customers, Vendors, other business partners

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with marketing communication content preparation.

2. Follow up on advocacy topics as assigned.

3. Support company's social media presence through content development.

4. Coordinate newsletter input as assigned.

5. Organize internal and external company's events as needed.

6. Enhance internal and external visibility and reporting for BU activities in East Africa using various communication tools.

7 Aid communication and advocacy efforts for the HR function and other departments as assigned.

8. Coordinate CCEA company's Kids’ Lab and Teens Lab activities.

9. Monitor the company's info email address.

10. Update CCEA website and intranet pages.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Proactive approach to diverse communication department deliverables.

2. Achievement of successful outcomes based on set objectives for activities/events.

3. Commitment to set timelines.

4. Increased recognition and visibility for company's both internally and externally.

5. Adherence to and compliance with all company's guidelines and procedures.

6. Effective collaboration with all colleagues.

Requirements

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business administration, or a related field.

2. Basic understanding of marketing communication techniques, business trends, and social media management.

3. Good writing skills for various audiences.

Skills:

1. Proficiency in MS Office, Mail, WebEx, and conference IT set-up management.

2. Well-organized, detail-oriented, with a pleasant personality and attitude.

3. Self-motivated and result-oriented.

4. Attention to detail.

5. Soft skills.

6. Positive attitude and proactiveness.
