Now Hiring: Full-Time Counter Salesperson
Location: Bird Stairs – Fredericton, New Brunswick
Are you a motivated, customer-oriented individual with a passion for sales? Bird Stairs is looking for an experienced Counter Salesperson to provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to our valued clients. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers, take orders, and assist them with their purchases.
• Handle customer inquiries, product orders, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve walk-in customers at our sales counter and manage phone inquiries.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Pick customer orders from stock and notify them when orders are ready for pick-up.
• Assist with additional tasks such as stocking shelves, taking inventory, pricing products, setting up displays, and maintaining a clean organized workspace.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior experience in sales or customer service is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing or electrical products is helpful but not required.
• A willingness to learn and a supportive team spirit.
