Project Officer Job Description

Qatar Airways is seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for administering projects from proposal to closeout, ensuring timely delivery within budget and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and deploy project management plans to achieve delivery of Qatar Airways projects on time.
• Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations to manage projects for delivery.
• Assist the Line Manager in preparing analytical reports to benchmark levels and propose positive changes or amendments.
• Create scorecards, reports, and presentation slides to benchmark project development and deliver assigned projects within budget and timeline.
• Monitor project personnel, implement operating policies, and prepare progress reports.
• Lead project meetings and implement operating policies to ensure timely task completion and prepare progress reports.
• Prepare and produce plans and business cases to justify project cost and benefit to finance, senior management, and cost management committee.
• Coordinate with relevant agencies and parties involved in projects to ensure tasks, expenses, and time frames are within agreed parameters.
• Report to the Line Manager on project status regularly.
• Conduct interviews and surveys with project stakeholders and owners to establish customer service and satisfaction levels.
• Coordinate project meetings, working groups, and workshops to document action points, follow-ups, and agreed actions.
• Provide support for end-to-end procurement, tendering, and contracting of Qatar Airways requirements from an end-user perspective.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of job-related experience with a High School Qualification, Vocational Qualification, or Diploma, or 3 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Preferably with Airline/Airport/Airport Ground Handling experience.
• Proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet changing business demands.
• Proven experience in health and safety management in the workplace.
• Experience working in an executive administrative office.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Application, including Microsoft Project
