• Responsibilities*
The role of a Health Care Assistant involves travelling between our client's homes according to their rota and staying different lengths of times with each client depending on what their care needs are. One call may be to assist providing personal care, to prepare breakfast and administer medication to a client, and the next call may be to take a client out for a walk around the local Mere.
Our goal is to promote a positive difference to our clients' lives with every visit.
We support clients with many different needs including:
• Helping with daily life - shopping, dietary needs
• Personal care
• Administering medication
• Manual handling, using equipment where required
• Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
• Support access to community - local support groups, visiting friends and neighbours
• Working in partnership with local Social Services and Community Health Teams

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
