Assembly Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 x experienced Assembly Operatives to join a busy company based in Halesfield, Telford that specialise in the manufacture, supply and installation of sheet metal products. This is a temporary to permanent position after a successful probationary period.
As a Sheet Metal Assembly Operative your duties will include:
Working from customer orders, building products based on required specification.
Use hand and power tools to assemble sheet metal components
Packing and Unpacking as Instructed.
Assembling Parts as per Instructions, checking all work is correct.
Adhering to companies health and safety guidelines.
To be a successful Assembly Operative you will have the following skills and experience:
Previous Assembly work experience or some history in a similar role
Experience using hand and/power tools
Working to deadlines, fast pace environment
The working hours are days Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm Friday 8am – 1pm. Over time is available outside of these hours and paid at an enhanced rate after 37.5 hours.
In return you will earn a minimum of £9.23 per hour, once you have completed training you will be eligible for on target earnings per hour that are on average £9.70 - £10.53 per hour.
Average rate per hour £10.53, there is the potential for increased earnings per hour for exceeding minimum production rates.
