For one of our clients, Hays is looking for provisional Accounting Officer (AP/AR):
What will be your responsibilities:
• Processing of invoices and bank transactions
• First point of contact about bank-related issues
• Management of customer and supplier accounts
• Assisting with VAT declarations and other reports
• Involvement in cash planning and ad-hoc financial analysis
Who are we looking for:
• At least one year of experience in a similar financial role
• Good knowledge of Excel and experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Fluent in English, and confident about communicating in either French or Dutch
• Independent, efficient, and taking initiative
• Team-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Willing to mentor and guide junior colleagues, sharing your expertise to support their growth
