How do you get Brussels moving?
As an internal auditor, your goal is to improve STIB-MIVB processes through a uniform analysis based on ethics, empathy and transparent written and oral communication. You work in the Internal Audit department and report to the Audit Director.
What will your daily life consist of?
Planning and execution of audit engagements:
• You develop a risk-based approach plan and a test plan that can be carried out effectively.
• You will assess processes, risks and controls to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, the reliability of (financial) information and compliance with legislation and regulations.
• You document the findings in an audit file and draw up a detailed report. You will make relevant and concrete audit recommendations.
People management:
• You manage external parties (subcontracting) for audit missions under your responsibility.
• You participate in meetings to identify risks and controls.
Follow-up on audit recommendations:
• You follow the execution of recommended corrective actions and agreed action plans. You assess the progress and document the state of play.
Development of an audit plan and implementation of audit procedures:
• You will participate in the collection of information necessary for the establishment of the audit plan and you will identify and assess potential risks in order to plan integration into the audit plan.
• You will monitor and contribute to the development of internal audit methodologies, processes and practices
