Firebird Performing Arts, British Virgin Islands, seeks a passionate, kind, self-motivated Teacher for Sept 2023 to June 2024 classes, with the possibility to extend. The role requires strong class management skills, an engaging teaching style and a willingness to support admin tasks. Solid experience in teaching and choreographing for children and teens is required. Teacher qualifications are preferred, candidates with experiential background will be considered.
Class styles include creative movement, hip hop, ballet, gymnastics, tumbling, musical theater and jazz. The new teacher role is open to development to tailor the overall Firebird experience to the individual applicant. Deadline for applications is May 31, as a request for a BVI Work Permit must be submitted months in advance of September 11 start date.
