Job Description:
The Buyer is key to ensure the smooth operations of the Outsourcing activities within Entegris.
The Buyer will perform day-to-day purchasing activities and be the subject matter expert in material management. This role will work with both internal and external business partners to ensure timely and seamless supply of materials.
The ideal candidate must be a team player with an eye for details, has strong work ethics, and a positive attitude.
• Ensure material availability per MRP signals.
• Manage suppliers’ production capacity and production schedules to alleviate constraints impacts and achieve on-time delivery and on-time shipment targets. (OTD/OTS)
• Manage consigned materials to suppliers. (STO/PO) =>Create DN(Logistics)
• Own the safety stock inventory setting to ensure optimum materials availability.
• Ensure data integrity in SAP.
• Act on quality or invoices issues to get them resolved timely.
• Handle internal & external communications with stakeholders to meet customer service level.
• Drive continuous improvements on business process and tools
