Job Description
The Program Officer at Parley Lanka will advance environmental initiatives by leading cleanups, building stakeholder relationships, obtaining approvals, and overseeing program execution. This role offers a chance to impact Sri Lanka’s ecological future.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Schedule and conduct cleanups
• Obtain project approvals
• Coordinate country-level activities
• Implement the E&A program
• Develop stakeholder relationships
• Write proposals for grants
• Ensure proper implementation of partnership agreements
• Produce timely country reports
• Create Media and PR opportunities
Candidate Qualifications
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Residency in Colombo
• Proficiency in Sinhala and English
• Degree in related field
• Additional training in environmental science
• Passion for ocean conservation
