Role Description
This is a contract Artisan Fitter role located on-site at Arenel Foods in Bulawayo Province, Zimbabwe. Daily responsibilities include assembling, fitting and testing machinery and equipment, diagnosing and repairing faults, and maintaining and improving machinery and equipment.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Artisan Fitter or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery
• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Able to use precision measuring tools
• Good physical fitness and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is an advantage
• Certification in Fitting and Turning, Mechanical Engineering or related field
