Our client is looking for a Sales Distribution Director for Tanzania, East Africa.
Responsible for overseeing the distribution strategy and execution for the alcohol business, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in sales, distribution, and market analysis within the alcohol industry. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, optimize distribution channels, and foster strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales distribution strategies that align with the company’s goals and market demands.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and potential risks in the distribution landscape.
• Channel Management: Oversee the management of distribution channels, ensuring effective coverage, pricing strategies, and promotional activities that maximize market penetration.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales distribution team, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing training and support.
• Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales performance metrics and distribution efficiency, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all distribution practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations governing the sale and distribution of alcohol.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, and logistics teams to coordinate promotional campaigns and ensure timely product availability.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while achieving sales targets
