About ALU

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate individual to join the ALU School of Wildlife Conservation (SOWC) team. You will be responsible for optimizing and executing marketing campaigns, managing the School’s communications, and supporting operational needs. This strategic and operational role spans across marketing, graphic design, social media management, and event support, with a key focus on storytelling, brand-building, and digital engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the marketing lead for SOWC, implementing the marketing plan.
• Manage the public image of SOWC by ensuring brand-consistent content across digital channels (website, blogs, emails).
• Develop communication strategies and marketing materials in collaboration with the ALU marketing team.
• Design graphic assets including flyers, motion graphics, videos, and branding for events.
• Manage and update the SOWC website, ensuring SEO compliance and maintaining engaging content.
• Use research and analytics to track marketing performance and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Lead social media management to boost engagement and followers.
• Oversee digital marketing efforts, recruitment campaigns, and online advertising, ensuring optimal efficiency.
• Recruit and manage social media/marketing interns.
• Support and host key events like the Business of Conservation Conference.
• Assist in executing special projects, including alumni engagement and internship fund programs
