We are hiring a Farm Supervisor for Chifide Farm at Nkando, in Mulanje for 2022 . The farm is less than 10 hectares. The farming is done through out the year using annual rainfall and irrigation.Qualifications and ExperienceThe candidate should have a minimum of the following: 1. Certificate in farm management. Those with extensive training in horticultural crops starting from nursery to harvesting plus marketing knowledge shall have added advantage.2. Thorough knowledge of running Agriculture as business. Minimum knowledge of irrigation shall be required.3. Ability to send daily reports for farm activities4. Ability to keep farm records5. Ability to supervise labourers and negotiate lower prices for the benefit of the farm6. Ability to make recommendations for best farm practicesSalaryThe successful candidate shall be paid1.
