POSITION: ACCOUNTANT Location: Liwonde JOB DESCRIPTION Malawi Fertilizer Company (MFC) invites applications from suitably qualified and result driven candidates for consideration for the following positions, which are tenable at the MFC Plant in Liwonde: ACCOUNTANT 1 POSITION Department: Finance Reporting to: Finance & Administration Manager SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES All suppliers invoicing, posting in Accpac and reconciling with the suppliers Checking all expenditures against approved budget Posting of all fertilizer sweeping sales Stock counts and reconciliation (Fertilizer and Stores) Fixed Assets verifications and reconciliation. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Self-Starter with good communication skills Should be mature and of sober habits Should not have less than three (3) years’ experience in the accounting field Should be Result Oriented and Team Player. ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree Holder in Accounting from a recognized University / College Experience in factory environment will be an added advantage but not a must.
