Quality Manager (Steel Manufacturing)

Job Description
Our client is a leading Steel (TMT bar) manufacturer based at Angola.
Key Skills:
Quality experience Steel melting shop & Hot rolling mill long product TMT rebar and strip mill. Chemical composition/addition (chemistry) for alloy and mild steel through Induction Furnace process knowledge. Thorough knowledge of defects related to rebar and strip Through knowledge of defects like-porosity, crack, pin holes for billets through continuous casting machine. Sound knowledge in rolling process, and quality related issues. AOD process knowledge. Delay analysis (RCA) for cobble, cobble analysis. Knowledge of stands, furnace, cooling bed, flying shears, rotary shear, pich rolls etc. Production Reports generation daily, weekly, monthly. Preventive and predictive maintenance of quality machines like-UTM. Knowledge about various grades of scrap, various grades of steel. Sound knowledge in melting process, and quality related issues. Close control capability over consumption of consumables, spares. Excellent analytical and communication skills Qualification: B.E/B. Tech/Diploma in Metallurgy. Experience: Minimum 10-15 Years hot rolling mill and SMS Required Skills Quality & Safety, Rolling Mill, Steel Melting Shop, Quality standards, rebar and Strip Mill, AOD Process Knowledge
