ACTIVITIES
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Take the full responsibility of piloting all project phases, from the
STARTING UP to the CLOSING phase, respecting COST, QUALITY, TIME, and RISKS.
- PROJECT METHODOLOGY: use the IT DIVISION governance for projects follow up based on the
prince2, including documents and reporting.
- PROCUREMENT: pilot CFT (Call for tender), RFQ, RFI with the contract's designated interface
and be prepared for Contract Committees.
- BUDGET MANAGEMENT: define and pilot the designated budget for the project´s handled
portfolio
- HSE: ensure that the group HSE concepts are respected in all project phases
- COMMUNICATION: be the central point of all project's involved stakeholders and be proactive
in communicating, leading the RACI MATRIX implementation
- CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Anticipate the IT systems evolution according to business needs and
HQ recommendations, working in collaboration with the designated interfaces, in aim to meet
clients/entities expectations.
- COLLABORATION: this is an essential pre-requirement for the project management success
within the IT division and shall be taking in account in a daily basis
DIMENSION
- Complexity of the systems: High (3/3). Enterprise network and industrial offshore projects
piloting, evolving precision and serious coordination of budget, time and results.
- Areas of intervention: Satellite links, radio links, laser links, fiber optics, data networks,
telephony, CCTV, radio systems, radar, video conference and digital new needs
OBS: All those systems can be learned, if the candidate as an engineering background.
CONTEXT
The position is based in Luanda. It requires frequent exchanges with IS correspondents in TEPA
businesses, Headquarters' IT correspondents and continuous coordination with TEPA SIT managers. The
position also requires mobility to go to different sites (Offshore/onshore) depending on project phases.
It covers telecom and industrial systems for 6x large FPSOs and drilling rigs in OFFSHORE and OFFICES/DATA centers in ONSHORE
PURPOSES
- Accuracy and precision in all project phases, in aim to delivery results on time and within a specific
budget, ensuring sustainable expected services and costs.
- Anticipated and mitigate risks to avoid waists.
- Ensure a proper transfer/ handover of the projects to the recurrent/operations.
- Be detailed in all documentation and prepare/anticipate future projects by using the REX (retour of
experience) of the previous ones.
REQUIRED PROFILE
Diploma & experience: IT Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience in project management
Competencies:
• Good experience in project management or similar activity
• Good technical knowledge in IT/TELECOM or similar engineering areas
Key behavior: Good relationships ability, inc. good listening, proactivity and responsibility of service
delivery.
Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and/or English
