Phénicia Conseil For a Group multi-national and multi business that is developing large projects in Africa, related to Housing, Social Equipment’s, Infrastructures , energy, water, creator of innovation and of the deployment of innovative technology solutions, is looking for a:
Project Director
Technology Solutions
Expat/Local , Angola
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all the project execution in the country.
• Managing and supervising the PM teams and experts in the construction of projects in accordance with specifications ensuring the quality and execution in the time and budget.
• To perform budget and time control in accordance with the project requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor and controlthe project to be aligned with the overall strategic goals and objectives of the organization.
• Makes presentations to investors, business partners and company executives concerning different phases of a project.
• Regularly updates clients, executives, and other stakeholders with reports on the progress and performance of projects.
• Follow all regulations related to projects and ensure they’re in compliance.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
• Bsc MSc PMP certification preferred.
• At least 7, Seven years of experience as a Project Director/Country Manager/Project Manager in a global company
• Minimum 7 years of experience in managing big projects and multicultural teams including working experience in Africa. (Portuguese speaking Countries)
• The candidate should be autonomous and independent to run while consistently synchronized with his management.
• Flexible can adapt to changes, creative and able to solve challenging and complex situations with unorthodox solutions.
• Familiar with commercial contracts and bank terms
• Can work under pressure, can manage to work in uncertainty, changing conditions
• Mission oriented, driven to succeed and achieves mission objectives and goals
• Experience managing Business to Government relationships
• Languages: English and Portuguese – must.
