We are a gaming start-up working on a sandbox top-down MMORPG in a dark fantasy world. Game introduces an open world, ruthless PvP and real-time MOBA combat to fit Desktop and Mobile markets.
Our mission is to build an awesome sandbox, PvP oriented experience with an open economy using blockchain technology! Our primary goal is to deliver fun gameplay, an interesting world to explore, and open up the economy of the game for better integration with the modern world.
Your responsibilities are going to be:
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes
• Research necessary technologies to achieve our goals
• Work with game designers to assess the requirements
• Design client-server architecture for future expansion and scalability
• Organize the workflow for developers and technical artists
• Scale and lead developers
The requirements are:
• Extensive experience in netcode (client-side prediction, lag compensation)
• Experience designing and building backend server farms for horizontal scaling
• Experience working with Unity or Photon
• Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
• You are very good with C++/C#/Go
• Proven record of real-time multiplayer games built by you
• You are very motivated to learn, grow and help others
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership and organizational abilities
• Strategic thinking
• Problem-solving aptitude
