About the job
Vega’s Distributors Ltd., in Benque Viejo Town, is looking to fulfill the vacant post of Inventory Officer. The successful candidate must possess good analytical and organization skills, be able to monitor and record the company’s inventory. The position requires the individual to be very detail-oriented in inventory, be able to create procedures, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
• Will assist in designing and executing the implementation of procedures for the system & physical inventory.
• Be able to analyze and record audited inventories.
• Ensure that adequate stock is available for distribution.
• Will be responsible for receiving and recording the return of goods from the delivery truck.
• Supervise, develop, and maintain Inventory Control.
• Receival of purchase orders and confirmation.
• Be able to work with multiple warehouses and be able to transfer goods when necessary.
• Produce and deliver the end-of-month stock-taking and annual stock take reports.
• Maintain inventory controls by following policies and procedures.
• Develop ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Possess great attention to detail with a strong business mindset.
• Assist to place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus in stock.
• Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
• Report to upper management on stock levels, or any other issue regarding inventory.
• Keep information confidential.
• Be able to supervise your inventory team.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Associates’ degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• 3 to 5 years of Inventory work experience (essential).
• Be Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
• Sound understanding of inventory system – follow principles and practices.
• Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Must be a critical thinker.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and strong math skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and inventory programs.
