The Sales Engineer generates sales and provides technical services while managing customer relationships for the company's water treatment solutions. This role integrates technical expertise with customer-facing support to ensure that products and services meet client needs effectively.Responsibilities:
Developing and executing sales strategies to secure new business.Generating leads, networking, and negotiating contracts with customers.Delivering presentations, preparing proposals, and closing sales deals with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.Managing client relationships and fostering repeat business.Performing system analysis and providing technical recommendations for optimal operations.Monitoring financial performance and operational costs of sales and service activities.Offering on-site service, technical support, and market analysis for sales coverage.Attending meetings, reporting on sales performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Maintaining accurate records and compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO standards.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of water treatment processes.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Technical expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining water treatment systems.Ability to engage positively with all levels of employees and management.Capable of advising management on sales and service issue resolutions.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirements and ability to conduct internal audits.Proficiency in managing company products and services.Risk identification and management skills.Honest, a team player, proactive, and willing to learn with a positive attitude.Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.1-3 years of experience in sales and service engineering within the water treatment industry or related sectors.Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
