Key responsibilities:
• Assistance to senior colleagues in execution of in-house buy-side and sell-side deals and advisory of M&A transactions;
• Draft transaction-related documentation, including pitch books, teasers, information memorandum, management presentations, business plans;
• Prepare internal documentations, presentations for internal and external stakeholders;
• Perform complex financial analysis, building a discounted cash flows and valuation models, feasibility studies and similar documents;
• Source industry intelligence and competitive analysis for potential M&A opportunities;
• Conduct sector research, including identifying investment focus areas, producing competitive analysis, trends, public comparables and precedent transactions analysis.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in financial advisory services, previous experience in private equity and/or investment banking is an advantage;
• Sound knowledge of recent M&A activities in the region;
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Audit or Economics, Master’s degree is an advantage;
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and business valuation;
• Excellent command in English and Russian (spoken and written);
• Strong “technical” skills including advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
• Previous experience with S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg data platforms is an advantage;
• CFA qualification in progress or completed is an advantage;
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in team environments;
• Highly analytical mind-set, critical thinking combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills – including the ability to articulate to the team;
• High level of attention to details and ability to master new tasks quickly;
• Strong ethical mindset and ability to work in a team.
