Serving over 25,000 clients in 11 districts of the Mid-Western, Central, and Northern region(s) of Uganda, ENCOT Microfinance Limited (ENCOT) is a social impact, fast growing and innovative MFI operating a network of SIX branches located in Hoima, Masindi, Kigumba, Kagadi, Nakasongola and Kawempe.
ENCOT’s mission is to provide microfinance services to low-income smallholder farmer communities, most especially women, to allow them curve their own paths out of poverty through creation of own jobs.
ENCOT is seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated and result oriented professionals to urgently fill the position below:
1. RISK & COMPLIANCE OFFICER (1)
Duty Station: Head Office – Masindi
The role is responsible for ensuring that ENCOT conducts its business processes in compliance with laws and regulations, professional standards, and accepted business practices.
The Risk and Compliance Officer has a responsibility for upholding the ethical integrity of the organization and ensuring that business activities are conducted using a regulatory framework. He should advise Management on possible risks and how to mitigate them through performing regular audits and executing them under design control systems.
