Responsibilities
:
• Report to work regularly and punctually
• Evaluate employees’ job performance and conformance according to company standards
• Read, understand and accept code of conduct.
• Ensuring you understand and follow all VM procedure for vehicles.
• Ensure that shift change take only place at the weight bridge and the fields on time and quick as possible.
• Do routine vehicle and trailer inspection with drivers.
• Ensure all pre-shift inspections are done and defect reports are open.
• Trips sheets must be completed and in neat hand writing and be handed to fleet controller after each shift.
• Routine checks on all diesel and oil components, open defect and send immediately to workshop to be fixed.
• Knowledge of how many staff in overall is on the pay roll per contract.
• Report of accidents and or incidents where by you were involved and or property damage or been reported to you to report.
Skills:
• Strong problem solving and judgment skills are required.
• Strong supervisory, leadership and mentoring skills
• Strong focus on safety, quality assurance and quality control
• Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
• Strong computer skills
Qualifications:
• Grade 12
• Human relation training/Safety related training.
• 5 years of experience in a similar position
