Job Title: Claims Assessor (Medical And Travel Department)
Job Description:
As a Claim Assessor, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing Medical and Travel insurance claims to determine their validity. This role involves investigating claims, gathering relevant information, and assessing the extent of coverage based on policy terms. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and assess insurance claims for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct thorough investigations to gather relevant information and documentation.
• Communicate with clients, policyholders, and third-party entities to obtain necessary details and clarification.
• Analyse policy coverage and determine the extent of liability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and medical advisor, to ensure accurate assessment and resolution of claims.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of claim assessments and decisions.
• Provide timely and clear communication to all stakeholders regarding claim status and decisions.
Qualifications:
• Higher School certificate
• Experience in travel or medical claim will be a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools
