As the Head of Finance the key focus will be to drive financial excellence in this critical sector.
Job & Company Description:
As the Head of Finance for mining operations, you will oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide leadership to a dynamic finance team while collaborating closely with senior management to optimize business performance and profitability.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
- Prior experience in the mining sector or related industries is essential
- Expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and budgeting
- Strong understanding of Botswana's regulatory environment and tax laws
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA) preferred
