WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE TO FILL IN THE POSITION OF PRINCIPAL OFFICER
Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and liaise with NBFIRA.
• Conduct regular and systematic appraisals and evaluations of the Company's operations and keep the Directors updated on the same.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls that will promote adequate communication and information flow which will solidify management control and direction of the company.
• Oversee business development activities of life and non-life business.
• Recruit, train, coach and supervise staff to ensure professional development
• Provide advice relating to insurance products to existing and prospective clients according to the Insurance Prudential rules (ICR Intermediary Conduct).
Qualifications and experience
• Degree in Risk Management and Insurance
• COP Long-term or Short-term business
• Experience in the insurance industry
