B. JOB SUMMARY

The Manager Learning & Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing effective training programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge. This role involves assessing organizational training needs, developing relevant training materials, and overseeing the delivery of training programs. The Manager also evaluates the effectiveness of the training programs and works to continuously improve them to ensure employee growth and organizational success.

C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs to support the continuous development of employees across various departments.

▪ Assess current training needs through surveys, performance appraisals, and consultations with department heads.

Coordinate in organizing and facilitating training workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training sessions.

▪ Provide leadership and direction to ensure training programs align with company objectives and employee performance needs.

▪ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance data analysis.

▪ Regularly update training materials to reflect new company policies, procedures, and industry trends.

▪ Partner with management to identify skill gaps and future learning needs to meet business objectives.

▪ Ensure all training programs comply with legal regulations and company standards.

▪ Foster an environment of continuous learning and development across the organization.

▪ Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and evaluation results for reporting purposes.

▪ Collaborate with GM to ensure that employee development aligns with succession planning initiatives.

▪ Deliver training sessions as needed for key programs or initiatives.

▪ Stay current with trends in learning technology and implement new tools and platforms as appropriate.

D. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/HR, Masters degree is preferred

Experience

· Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Learning and Development

· BPO industry experience is a plus

Technical Competencies

▪ Instructional Design: Proficiency in creating engaging and effective training materials, including course outlines, presentations, and assessments.

▪ Training Delivery: Ability to deliver training sessions effectively, both in-person and virtually.

▪ Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficiency in using LMS platforms to manage training programs, track progress, and generate reports.

▪ Performance Management: Understanding of performance management methodologies and tools.

▪ Needs Assessment: Ability to identify and assess the training needs of employees and teams.

▪ Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools to track training metrics and evaluate program effectiveness.

▪ Technology Skills: Familiarity with various training technologies, such as e-learning platforms, virtual reality, and simulations.

▪ Project Management: Ability to manage training projects effectively, including planning, budgeting, and execution.

▪ Designing Soft Skill Training: Proficiency in creating engaging and effective training programs that address specific soft skill gaps.

▪ Measuring Soft Skill Development: Ability to track and measure the impact of soft skill training programs on employee performance.
