About Our Client
Our client is one of the reputable professional services firm, and Indonesia is becoming a key market within the South East Asia region and they are hiring a senior business development manager to join their elite team.
With their global presence, they will be able to provide the opportunities to cooperate with colleagues all around the world and their portfolio of clients comprises of leading regional corporations, and local companies across industries.
Job Description
This is a critical and first hire for the client, and hence, the selected candidate is expected to be part of the lean team in driving the growth of the business. Other responsibilities will include:
Business Development
• Understanding market development of existing and potential clients, including emerging business trends, and supporting management team in preparing pitch materials.
• Being a strategic key partner in submitting proposal, and following up to the clients (leads, contracts, and proposals).
• Developing excellent partnerships across the practice team, regional and global BD team and other support functions.
Marketing
• Identifying and generating leads, through both online and offline channels.
• Executing marketing initiatives in accordance to the firm, both in local and regional practice group, but localizing such initiatives to be relevant to Indonesian market.
• Assisting in preparing and managing marketing activities such as webinars, events, thought leadership workshops, sales materials and capability statements - and working closely with the PR, social media and event team.
• Creating high-quality content (articles, blog posts) to position the firm at the top of the clients' minds.
Others
• Working closely with partners and associates in both Indonesia and within the region.
• Ensuring that all business development efforts adhere to legal ethical standards.
The Successful Applicant
Because of the high competitiveness of the process, this role is only opened for Indonesians with excellent communication in Bahasa and English, and has worked in another professional services firm, with business development experience. To seize the opportunity to work for this highly dynamic client, you should be/have:
• Minimum of 6 years business development working experience in reputable company, ideally from another law firm.
• If you have experience working or studying overseas, you are also welcome to apply.
• University degree from reputable university, with strong command in both Bahasa and English..
• Direct experience in managing client (not only having direct access with the clients, but the ability to manage them).
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Strong business acumen, self-motivated, willingness to learn and strong focus on independent progression, excellent interpersonal and adaptability, energetic and result-oriented.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and highly-organized.
• Proficient in time management, in both a remote and on-site model with global teams.
• A team player, positive attitude and high level of integrity and diplomacy.
