Procurement Department, Shared Services provides professional quality assurance services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal ('CCT"), Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).
The selected candidate is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of direct categories covering the procurement of fresh goods and will be responsible for developing the relevant category strategy to form a part of the overall departmental strategy for the direct category.
Responsibilities
• Identifying and driving category opportunities in conjunction with different stakeholders.
• Developing market-informed category strategies and assisting the Head of Direct Procurement with subsequent implementation (in collaboration with business units) for relevant categories of spend.
• Leading end-to-end sourcing processes from market research, RFP preparation, financial analysis, negotiation and evaluation to contracting.
• Collating market intelligence and provide feedback on product and commercial information to relevant stakeholders.
• Leading contract and commercial negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company.
• Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
• High Diploma or above, preferably in business- or procurement-related
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience, preferably in a F&B, Catering, Fresh Food industry.
• Possess relevant professional qualification would be an advantage (e.g. CIPS).
• Strong negotiation, influencing and commercial skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively develop relationships with cross-functional teams and at a multiple organizational levels.
• Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin a plus.
