My client, a global fintech firm, is actively seeking a hands on QA Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong.
As a QA Engineer specializing in web and mobile applications, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing quality assurance processes to guarantee the functionality, performance, and user-friendliness of their software. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the continuous improvement of their products.
The role:
• Conduct thorough testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to review requirements and provide valuable input on testability.
• Report and document bugs, issues, and enhancement opportunities with clear and concise details.
• Perform regression testing to verify software quality and ensure that issues are resolved.
What you offer:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in quality assurance for web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks for web and mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and test case development.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and experience with bug tracking systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
