Introduction

Our client, a leading supplier of quality steel and tube products, pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and hardware, based in Kimberley, is currently seeking a strong Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Generating leads.
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
• Maintaining client records.
• Assisting customers with queries related to products, pricing and availability.
• Servicing of new and existing customers.
• Completing of call reports.
• Assisting customers with technical advice and queries.
• Sales & budget forecasts.
• Opening up of new accounts.
• Achieving monthly target.
• Establishing, developing and maintaining good customer relationships.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• 3-4 years of Sales experience, preferably in the Steel & Tube, Hardware or Fluid Control industry.
• Strong Sales background.
• Syspro experience is a MUST.
• Must have a valid drivers’ licence.
• Understanding of sales process and dynamics.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
