Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in establishing department-level EHS management system to ensure its compliance with international standards and good practices in the wind power/ESS industry, meet the company's EHS related rules and standards, and with strong executability.
• Promote the implementation of department-level EHS management system according to the PDCA management methodologic.
• Coordinate with EHS coordinators in different region to assist them in carrying out EHS management.
• Systematically improve the EHS knowledge and skills of personnel at all levels in the department, organize and implement EHS training for project managers and engineers.
• Develop the department's annual EHS internal audit plan and organize its implementation and follow up on the closed-loop progress and effects of audit findings.
• Review EHS related documentations within the contract of new project & new opportunities, feedback with comments. Communicate with customers whenever necessary and participate in customer reception work.
• Communicate with overseas customers on project EHS management matters, and temporarily act as the project EHS manager in the early stage of overseas projects to carry out related work.
• Implement EHS incentive & discipline actions.
• Conduct lateral communication within the company on EHS management and cooperate with relevant departments in the company to implement EHS management requirements for overseas business.
• Assist in developing the department's annual EHS management plan and EHS-KPI, and continuously track and supervise the completion status.
• Identify EHS laws and regulations for projects in different countries and conduct compliance evaluations to ensure the legality and compliance of overseas project management.
• Complete other EHS related work arranged by department heads and line supervisors.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above in safety engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related majors.
• More than 8 years of EHS management experience in engineering construction, with independent responsibility for EHS management of oversea projects.
• Experience on ESS/wind power project management and be willing to travel abroad on an irregular basis.
• Familiar with risk assessment, work permit management, behavior-based safety tools, contractor management, EHS incident management, compliance management, emergency management, EHS audit, project and construction safety management, chemical risk management.
• Good communication skills and stress management skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, proficiency in multiple languages is preferred.
• NEBOS IGC, GWO BST and other renewable industry related certificate is preferred
