Job Summary
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that reports on costs, productivity, margins and company expenditures are accurate.The Senior Accounts Officer will be reporting to the Financial Controller.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Posting in the system (record keeping
• Reconciliations (Bank, supplier and customer)
• Cash management
• Inventory management (stock check)
• Report generation (weekly, monthly and yearly)
• Payments and Debt collection.
• Supervision of subordinates
Requirements
• Minimum education level should be a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience (a plus on transport industry and African country experience)
• * Accounting Software skills (SAP Skills a plus to the company)
• * Microsoft office skills
• * Able to prepare financial statements
• * Able to compute and file tax returns
• * Team worker
• * Good communication skills, being able to lias with customers, suppliers and Banks
• * Very good in reconciliation
• * Inquisitive
