Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Kenya Poultry Farmers Limited in Kisumu. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications
• CPA trained
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Analysis skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Quickbooks, Tally is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• A real team player
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
Responsibilities
• Daily sales, stock and bank reports
• Daily sales & bank reconciliation
• Petty cash distribution
• Weekly P&Ls & accounts payable/receivable
• Monthly management accounts and budgets
The salary range for this position is KES 30.000-40.000/month depending on experience and educational background, with strong possibilities for growth
