About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Specialist to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our Financial Risk Management Department, you will play a critical role in analyzing risk exposures, designing strategies, and procuring insurance to protect assets and mitigate liabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and critique risk allocation, indemnity, insurance, and other related contract provisions.
• Negotiate, implement, and administer insurance and reinsurance placement structures.
• Develop and advise on the implementation of risk and insurance policy and procedures.
• Work closely with our client's team to ensure seamless integration of risk management strategies.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance or risk management from a recognized program.
• Professional certification such as ACII, CMIRM, SIRM, or CPCU is preferred.
• 12 years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical industry, or a major corporate organization.
• Significant relevant corporate risk and insurance expertise obtained from industry, international brokerage, risk management, or insurance company background.
What We Offer
• Competitive monthly base salary.
• Monthly over base - 25% of monthly base salary.
• Benefits supplement - 20% of monthly base salary, with increases based on years of service.
• Severance package - 2 weeks' pay for each year of service, with increases after year 6.
• Employment tax - if the employee chooses to separate themselves from their 'home country' for income tax purposes.
• Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) - maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay with a cap, 20% share discount.
• Incentive plan - annual, based on performance.
• Travel allowance - annual, approx. $8,200 per household member over 11 years old.
• Vacation & paid holidays - 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
• Medical/Dental plan - complimentary in-Kingdom medical care/facilities.
• Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) - out of Kingdom assistance.
• Settling in allowance - one-time payment based on status
