This is an exciting opportunity to join Cumbria Outdoors at Hawse End Centre, situated on the shores of Derwent water. Hawse End Centre is a large Victorian mansion offering outdoor learning to the children and young people of Cumbria and beyond.
The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference and ensuring each person who stays with us enjoys a clean, warm and comfortable base to return to after a day of activities in the outdoors.
As a Housekeeping Assistant you will support the day-to-day cleaning and servicing of the accommodation ensuring good housekeeping in all areas. Other duties may include assisting in the kitchen and dining room.
The right people will work to maintain the highest standards and ensure adherence to Environmental Health & CCC procedures. We are looking for motivated positive and methodical people to join our small housekeeping team. You will be one of the many faces of the Centre and delivering great customer service is a necessity as well as building good relationships with our wider team and clients.
Full PPE will be provided in line with Covid-19 procedures including training on how to use it to keep you safe.

If successful at interview you will join our supply register and we are offering these posts on a Casual Worker Agreement basis
This role requires an enhanced DBS check with a Childrens Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children.
