Deputy Headteacher
Salary Range: L19 to L23

Workington Academy is a rapidly growing and improving 11-18 comprehensive school on the North West coast of Cumbria, serving the community of Workington and the surrounding area. Part of Cumbria Education Trust, we are a family of schools who share the same vision for our community, to ‘Be the best that you can be.’
We are seeking to appoint a high calibre Deputy Headteacher to join a senior leadership team of our continually improving and forward thinking Academy.
You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills with high levels of emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents and students.
Your experience of change management and evidence of shaping and implementing improved academic standards will be significant and instrumental in helping to shape the future of the Academy.
The specific areas of responsibilities will be determined having due consideration of the qualities and skills of the successful candidate. Candidates from all subject specialisms will be considered.
