Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant I in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 530336), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants must hold a good university degree and possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in event management, marketing, communications or public relations within a public or quasi-public organisation. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment. A proven track record in one or more of the following areas is required: event management, alumni relations, corporate communications, or cross-functional team management. Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in online and offline marketing, as well as customer-relationship management, is preferred.

Serving as a key member of the Knowledge Exchange & Faculty Advancement Team, the appointee will be responsible for the faculty’s large-scale events, CRM system and alumni relations, including but not limited to corporate and public communications to enable cross-team efficiency. He/She should also maintain and provide oversight for the Faculty’s alumni relations strategic planning, manage, improve and create engaging alumni communications and events; and perform any other duties and projects as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
